how long should a repair-install take?
I'm using Win10_2004_English_x64.iso I'm going to select "not right now" for including further updates during the repair, and only do the repair using the ISO my HDD.
I'm going to turn off my WIFI during the install so that Windows doesn't try to get anything else. Why? Because after the March forced update from 1909 to 2004, I can no longer install any more updates. I have already repaired several damaged files using DISM, but had to first download the ISO to do so. (DISM couldn't find a source for repairs online, on 1st attempts.) The Update Troubleshooter won't work for me. I cannot install any updates manually from the catalog. I tried to Cloud Reset to 2004. I got "There was a problem downloading. Unable to download. Please try Reset this PC using the local reinstall option."
So I'm going to do it all local only. However, with all my current problems, I'd like an idea of the duration so that I'll not be figuring that it has seized up.
Thanks.
