Sorry, somehow I hadn't seen the links in the posts.

I know why I come here. This has to be the fastest-responding community of the internets! Thanks guys. I'll check and see what works for me. I'll report back.

EDIT: system info filled out, as per the tutorial, BTW.

On the forum everyone is having problems updating from out of support windows but all do a clean install and it works fine it takes long messing about that doing a clean install
I normally recommend trying the ISO file first. Then if that fails, I recommend just doing a clean install instead of spending days or weeks trying to troubleshoot the problem with Windows Update.

Hi, I went for 2004 using the MCT. It took ages. It all seems to work right as yet. Most of all, I've been able to install all of Adobe's latest stuff. Thank you so much for your help.

I'll thank y'all for the answers when I'm not using my smartphone (somehow I can't find how to do it on the mobile version if the website).

EDIT: found the Full site link. Thanks given.

Just remember that Ver 2004 was released a year ago and it had many patches to fix the bugs.

I recommend that you run WU to install those patches.
