    How do I Reboot only have partial use of the ON Screen Keyboard


    Windows 10 20H2 (OS Build - 19042.746)

    HI How do I Reboot DELL 3670 INSPIRON (F12) after a planned Clean install only have partial use of the ON Screen Key board' the main KB crashed a week ago I'am assuming there will be no ON Screen Key board Nor will the Logitec Unified Keyboard and Mouse be back on the air?
    Hence the Clean Inst Time is running out as nothing is working right, Thanks TIA Dasha

    To perform a shutdown using only the on screen keyboard decide whether you want to shutdown or restart.

    A clean install typically has default Administrative Powershell (APS).
    This can be modified to Administrative Command Prompt (ACP).

    Click these keyboard keys:
    win + x
    a
    alt + y

    This should open ACP after a clean install to 20H2.

    Type for shutdown: shutdown /s
    Type for restart: shutdown /r

    PS is now the default for windows 20H2.
    So it should open APS.

    For clean install:
    Clean Install Windows 10

    For on screen keyboard:
    Turn On or Off On-Screen Keyboard in Windows 10

    For touch keyboard:
    Turn On or Off Automatically Show Touch Keyboard in Windows 10

    Hi zebook having trouble getting through this it takes a long time to utilise tutorials and directions every time i try the instruction's dont fit my PC' allways anwers about other vintage version's of Windows 10 or a Tablet? A small thing like getting the touch Keyboard onto the Taskbar took an hour yesterday another today I'm still not, sure its right.

    I have taken a lot longer than I thought mate, I'm finding it very hard using a wobbly PC and an onscreen key board?
    l have the touch Keyboard on Taskbar" I dug the wired Keyboard out... it' on standby. "this device does not have touch capabilities"I’m sorry zbook have to go out thanks zbook talk tomorrow Dasha
