    @Paul Black,

    I am sorry for the delayed reply.

    NO need to be sorry. As you probably appreciate, we are all on different Time Zones, so in some cases there could be many hours before someone gets a reply.

    @Tekkie Boy, to further explain, after updating from 19042.746 to 19042.804, SFC comes back clean, but DISM's gives me error 0x800f081f unable to locate source file.
    Hello and Welcome

    Can you upload the Windows Update logs from the following path?

    C:\Windows\logs\CBS

    Copy and paste the CBS folder on your desktop, zip it and then upload it on WeTransfer and share the link here please.

    I would come back then once I looked at the log files.

    Friendly greetings

    Sorry for any mistakes. English is not my native language.

    @Tekkie Boy,

    Thank you kind sir!

    I'm sorry, I do not know how to do the transfer. I do have the CBS folder onto my desktop, but am lost after that.

    What shall I try? I will understand if you chose to pass on helping me.

    @Tekkie Boy,

    I am unable to get a 'Link' on WeTransfer. The only option it is allowing me is email. I'm not sure what I have done wrong.

    Is there a way I can retry?

    Thank you.

    Click on the three dots on the wetransfer website and select the option "get transfer link".

    Any share link can be used however in the BSOD forum we use one drive, drop box, or google drive.

    It is very difficult to make time to read and keep up with the terms and conditions for each company offering free share links.

    These are used as there is no risk of accidentally clicking other links that download PUA, PUP, malware, etc.

    Also the data does not disappear during the troubleshooting.

    So that this thread is not hijacked please open a new thread and post the new link into this thread.

    Thank you, @zbook,

    I'm not sure what happened, but I was logged out for a period of time, and could not respond to @Tekkie Boy.

    But, as you request, I will start a new post.

    ...wish me luck (not being a SA by that either) . :)
