Reinstall frozen on the Use your Phone screen

I'm doing a fresh reinstall of Win 10 Pro. Everything was going along fine, until I reached the "Use your phone from your PC" screen. It's been stuck here for about half an hour. Clicking on Remind me later highlighted that button, but it won't move on. Clicking Skip for now doesn't do anything either. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a resolution, other than starting over?

Hello RickS22 and welcome to TF

Look at your disk activity LED for a few minutes and see if it's on or flashing - in which case just keep waiting. Note the current time.

Thank you. After an hour, I rebooted the PC and clocked on the "Remind Me Later" button, and everything went normally from there. Sadly, this isn't something that was ready for release.

Glad you're sorted and yes, Windows may frequently make us feel that way, but it's bloody amazing how well it works considering the various combinations of hardware, software, and users

I still remember the problems that the Registry created in Win 95. I'm still not convinced that it was progress, lol!
