Hi people I cannot do a planned Clean Install this LATEST Update Arrived 2 days ago and from what I gather it's a shot Duck..is it really Faulty? because of the issues I have with this Keyboard - Sticky Keys, caps lock, Num Lock, USB not recognised today but fine tomorrow, Bluetooth Dev mang check out but I cannot get my Tablet to talk to mu Phone etc will make this nightmare every clean Install I have ever done has been a crazy passwords are horrendous I have copies all over the place The first DELL Desktop (I' had 2) was 3 weeks in the box on the floor before they figured out it was repetedly F12 to get in to UEFI this still the SAme still the same today? Before I talk myself outta this

Should I ReBoot and let this new version Just Install as normal and hope for the best and create a Bootable from it OR, Delete itand create another Bootable USB with this version i am Running now 20H2 (OS Build - 19042.746)

I hope that if this clean Install Goes well, the major issues I have mentioned above should be fixed

Thanks to you all as usual it's Greatly appreciated Kindest Regards Dasha

You can do a clean install any time you like. Pending updates to your device have no significance.

Example- you could format your disk when performing a clean install or put in a new one- start from scratch.

Tutorial for clean install available if unfamiliar.

A clean install by definition means you are not in any way necessarily dependent on your current installation, except if it's your only PC you might need it to create the bootable installation disk.

There is no need to format the disk because Windows Setup will do so.
Just select an unallocated space and click on Next.

Matthew- at no time did I suggest it was necessary. I gave that as an example purely to emphasis the point a clean install can be done at any time, independently of the preceding installtion.

    Do you now see that?

Disconnect the device from the Internet before installation.

I assume you mean BOTH unplug the Toshiba ex hdd from the PC AND then leave the Internet close down WiFi to the Computer at the same time Matthew Dasha
