    Computer Reset Question

My computer: Toshiba laptop, Windows 10 pro

I've reset my device several times to factory settings in the recent past. My question is: Is it possible to reset a computer too many times and cause problems, or is there some sort of limitation? So far, I've not experienced any problems. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. Ed

Are you still making regular full image backups of your OS and data partitions onto external media of your choosing? If that restore partition ever fails, either before, during, or after, the last successful rollback to factory specs, what will happen next?

Rolling back to factory settings is a bad move as everything will be way out of date so it's risk do a Windows refresh or a clean install

When there are problems with Windows there are multiple troubleshooting options.

The choice depends on both the underlying problems and desired results.

All drives have a finite lifespan.
Other than that you can run unlimited software commands / software / resets etc.

Thanks to all who replied! BTW, I should have used the term "refresh" instead of "reset". My system appears to be working OK now. I now have a better understanding, thanks to you folks.
