Yesterday, I bought a 1-TB USB HDD. I am thinking about installing Ventoy on it. Should I download the above version or the following one?

    MBR vs GPT . Ventoy

The above page has the following question:

Which style should I select? MBR or UEFI?
    How would you answer it?

My USB HDD is currently an MBR disk.
    Code:
    PS C:\Windows\system32> Get-disk|FT -A FriendlyName, SerialNumber, PartitionStyle

    FriendlyName SerialNumber PartitionStyle
    ------------ ------------ --------------
    ST500DM002-1BD142 Z6E0VK5M GPT
Seagate One Touch w/PW 00000000NABT4VGS MBR

Is it possible for a UEFI computer not to support MBR?

In case anyone wants to run MemTest86 in UEFI mode on Ventoy, download "Image for creating bootable CD (ISO format)" under "MemTest86 V7.5 Free Edition" from the following page:

    MemTest86 - Download now!

The ISO file works in both UEFI and Legacy mode on my Ventoy.
I just found Ventoy is developed by the Chinese. No wonder the default language of Ventoy LiveCD is Chinese.

Chinese people develop lightweight Ventoy, which can automatically install multiple systems!Known as a must-have artifact for installation - MINNEWS

Is it a free version? If so, can you post a download link?

Not directly from the manufacturer, but from a well-known German PC site.

I would trust this source, other dubious Google sources not.

I assume that MemTest and WinPE would be included.
    Both work on my Ventoy.

That allows for files to be saved to the USB device when running the OS as a live usb.
I can save files onto the Ventoy USB device while WinPE is running from it.
I cannot save files onto the device while while Linux Mint is running from it.

Email the developer, he did make a new version when I found something did not work.

Do you mean I should email the developer, telling him that "MiniTool Partition Wizard" does not work in normal mode?
