I tried that, this is a Dell. Holding down F12, it goes to the Linux bootload menu, holding down tapping F9 goes to the Dell self diagnostics, testing memory, color display, sound, etc. If its not booting Windows from the thumb drive, wish I could get it to. I think the install I did of Mint must be corrupted.

Hold down F2 when you power on your computer and from Boot tab within BIOS setup utility make sure Windows 10 installation media (DVD/USB) is the first boot device and save changes.

I know the F12 key takes me to a Linux boot window. But tried the settings in the boot, didn't help.

Dell computers usually use F2 key to boot into BIOS setup utility and uses F12 for quick boot menu where you can select boot device.

I know the F12 key takes me to a Linux boot window. I'll try holding down on F2 again at boot.
