Or mine. I showed how to get to the Command Prompt using the Installation Media.

As mentioned before near the beginning, GPT is best. If possible and it is, use GPT. You are not forced to use MBR.

No one is suggesting to use Legacy-MBR. I'm saying that you don't need to convert the drive from MBR to GPT and then install Win 10. If you boot the installation drive as UEFI and delete ALL partitions it will convert to GPT and install Win 10 as UEFI-GPT.

    Let's see:
Boot computer from Windows 10 USB flash drive.
At the first screen press Shift+F10. If a command prompt does not open press Shift + FN + F10.
In the command prompt that opens run:
    diskpart
    select disk 0
    clean
    exit

Proceed through the install. After you select the option for Custom Install, on the next screen highlight the unallocated space on disk 0 and click next.
    Done.

Three pages of posts for that? And yes, I know buried in the three pages of posts were different variations to accomplish the same goal.

Well, I did answer one question from the OP which was ignored (I'm used to it). How to get to the Command Prompt. But, like I said, I'm used to it.

So, I'll just go find something else to do and not waste my time being ignored day in and day out.

    Bye, guys!

Well, your post #6 was actually quite erroneous. 1. You don't know where he purchased the computer from. 2. It is not the dealers responsibility to set up anything, unless it was specified in the sale agreement. 3. The SSD does not need to be initialized as GPT for a clean install of Windows 10 in UEFI mode. The SSD needs to be blank.

windows can be installed in two ways: Legacy-mbr or uefi-gpt
to install as legacy-mbr you must boot the installation drive as legacy
to install as uefi-gpt you must boot the installation drive as uefi.

During post, press f12 to launch the boot menu. You will see two options for the usb drive. Usb uefi (name) and usb (name). select usb uefi (name).
Go to install and delete all partitions on the ssd till you have one and only one unallocated space and then proceed.
