Just done the commands and message that boot files created.
Drive C still has no system reserve partition, can I boot from it now?
Do I need to set drive c as inactive again?
Thanks very much for the help.

Leave it active. Boot the computer from the SSD.

What error? the booting was already set priority to USB then SSD, before applying the commands.
I have not tried to boot with the HD removed yet as it look booting requires creation of partition the system reserve then more commands after the one you send me to create this partition.

NavyLCDR already explained that you don't need a system reserved partition.

Just detach the HDD and boot from the SSD. If it boots normally to the SSD we'll give more instructions.

Reconnect the old hard drive and do whatever you want with it.

Reconnect the HDD, make sure the boot priority on BIOS is the SSD and boot from the SSD.
Run MiniTool partition and set the fist partition of the HDD as non active and / or you can delete the partition and expand the right partition to the left.

Next time you do a Windows installation remember to detach ALL other drives from the MB.
