Upgrade to version 2004 (may 2020) giving issues with credentials

On several client computers, containing Windows 10 pro 1903, I have upgraded to Windows 10 version 2004.
On some of them I am experiencing severe issues. The Chrome and Edge stored password are gone.
Office 365 is not saving the user account password. OneDrive is not saving its password. Outlook doesn't remember the IMAP password of the mailserver. After every login everything is gone.

I see fixes as in use a remove MS account from local account and add MS account again. I am using a local Windows accounts and don't wan't to use MS accounts to login.

Is there any news about this? According to comments here: Windows 10 2004: ‘Credentials Manager’ broken [Workaround] | Born's Tech and Windows World

The issue is also present for clean install and even in version 20H2

    @blup
Did you try the workaround mentioned in your link?

I am using a local Windows account so I can't disconnect a MS account and reconnect again like mentioned in the fix.
These client's are used in businesses so my customers don't want to use MS accounts. Just local Windows accounts.

I had responded to you on my Moved to 2004; Microsoft and Office accounts are goofed up thread, but wanted to weigh in with some other material information.
    1. My home computer runs Windows 10 Home, and doesn't have this problem - although my Office programs will always hit me with alerts that I need to restart for my privacy changes - I make none - to take effect
    2. My work computer is Windows 10 Pro, and does have this problem
    3. And of course, as you mention, there is all kinds of stuff online about Credentials Manager problems with 2004 (haven't seen anyone making the distinction between Home and Pro, if that's material)

Also, for what it's worth, I use Firefox for my browser, and none of my settings or saved logins have been lost or affected through this.

For my home systems I'm running a Windows 10 pro with version 2004 PC which does not have this problem.
I am also running 2 laptops with Windows 10 Enterprise version 2004 and both don't have this problem.
So not every Windows installation has this issue. I have read here: Microsoft is investigating a Windows 10 bug that disrupts login information - WindowsLatest - OLTNEWS

That it could also be related to DPAPI .
Also maybe hardware or BIOS version could play a role here since I am also getting a TPM error.

There is at least one thread regarding a TPM issue since upgrading.
