How to revert back windows 7 from Windows 10?

Windows 10 completely I'm not satisfied.
So I'm going to install windows 7.
I don't have windows.old file and I have been using 2 years windows 10 but not satisfied.
The problem is do I delete C: folder and system file only or all disk parts are able to install?
I have data in D: drive and I don't have enough space in usb drive and don't have portable hard disk.
    Waiting for your reply.

And give me instructions before installation.
    This is my laptop model
    Lenovo Core i5 7th Gen - (8 GB/1 TB HDD/DOS/2 GB Graphics) IP 320-15IKB Laptop

Hi, this PC has no driver support for Win 7 it seems:
    laptops and netbooks :: 300 series :: 320 15ikbcontentdetail - Lenovo Support US

    - is that the driver page?

In general if you wish to remove Win 10 and clean install Win 7, you will need to delete all partitions of Win 10. You can keep any data partitions you have created yourself. (E.g. UEFI installations typically have 4 partitions).

You will need a Win 7 disk and license of course.

You will lose all installed programs, user accounts and data on C:

If your PC is recent, it may not have support for Win 7- i.e. there may not be appropriate drivers for it. No guarantee of success in that case.

Best to try an experiment if you have doubts by putting in a spare disk in place of what's there, and attempting to install Win 7. It looks as if you can't run Win 7 on it to me.

The laptop came with Win 10.
Did it once had Win 7 on it?
To install win 7 you must have a Win 7 license. Do you have it?

This is Win 10 Forum. Not the appropriate place to give you instructions to install Win 7.
Open a thread on Installation & Setup - Windows 7 Help Forums so we can give you the instructions.

On a Kaby lake laptop as yours it isn't very difficult to install win 7 but you need a Win 7 license. Do you have one?

Back up to an external drive. You are confusing two different things.

I never mentioned formatting anything, nor did I say all partitions should be deleted.

I specifically said you can keep any data partitions you have created yourself.

Instead of trying to go back to an unsupported operating system, why not tell us why your not satisfied and maybe we can help you find solutions so you are satisfied with Windows 10?
