    Windows 10 Education

Anyone running the "Education" version of Windows 10 under 2004? Issues?

When Windows 10 was first released I downloaded a copy Windows 10 Education (with key) from my school, but never used it since I was also running Windows 10 Pro, and didn't want to deal with the enterprise like OS.

Anyway, I'm thinking about clean installing it on my backup system (and updating to 2004) but just wanted to know if there were any "weirdies" in running Education. BTW I'll also be running Office 365. I mention this because I've heard some weird sign-in/activation issues between the two.

BTW system specs for said OS install is system two in my system specs.

    Thanks.

The only thing I can offer is the Education and Enterprise editions may need access to a Server to accomplish the activation. I ran into that in trying to use Win8 Ultimate key to change a Win10 Home to Win10 Pro, gave me Enterprise instead and wouldn't activate because of no Server access, ended up reinstalling and using a Win8.1 Pro key instead.

True, but as stated the Education version came with its own key so there's no need to rely on a Win 7 or 8 upgrade key. It's also a Microsoft sanctioned download so I'm not worried about activations.

    Good point though.

Still haven't been offered 2004 on this system yet

BTW, I see they got rid of the watermark that used to appear on earlier versions.

    Peace
