Mouse No Longer Works on Dual Boot "Choose an OS"

    Edited for Clarity

Windows 10 Dual Boot System - Production and Insider Preview
    Logitech M705 wireless mouse

When I update the Insider Preview, I no longer have a choice of OS, so I use the Macrium Reflect Rescue Media to get the Dual Boot options back. Once I correct that, the Mouse Cursor has disappeared and cannot be used to "Choose an OS" to boot into. I must instead, use the arrow button to choose the correct OS.

I don't have a clue as to what went wrong at this point. I've looked for answers on the Internet, but cannot find much on Windows 10; nothing that addresses this problem.

    Anyone got any ideas?

You have not booted an operating system so W10 is not the culprit does the mouse work in the bios settings? You may need to refresh the linking to the receiver to the mouse. If you have a corded mouse see if it works with that one.

This "Losing mouse on w10 bootloader" will get you some fixes or info.

I've seen issues with some computers working with the mouse in the BIOS but not be available when using F12 or F10 to choose a boot drive, whether HDD, SSD, CD/DVD or USB. I think maybe it's part of the BIOS having support for USB 2/Legacy USB but not USB 3 which would need the OS loading to get the drivers loaded, could be port choice is important.
