Windows has partially installed on secondary hard disk

Windows has partially installed on secondary hard disk and I would appreciate confirmation and any assistance in migrating them all the the main C drive. If I remove the secondary hard drive I am left with no boot options from my bios. I attached screenshots of disk management, diskpart volumes and bcdedit.

    Hello, Welcome to TenForums

IF you just installed Windows 10, the solution is simple. Just unhook the storage drive, and do a clean install of Windows 10 on the SSD.

In the future, it ALWAYS a good idea to unhook all other drives, before installing Windows.

Thanks, I had thought of that as a last solution but would prefer to move them if possible. You can just move the volume 0 in diskpart to C?

It will be harder and more time consuming than just re-installing Windows.

/edit @hsehestedt or others will be able to assist you if you still want to try and undo what Windows 10 does naturally, during an install.

Me... I just try to install Windows properly.

Lots of conversations on forum about issues with having 2 or more drives in a computer when installing Windows. I had one pick up the AHCI/RAID setting in the BIOS with 2 HDDs, removing the D: drive broke the boot process, necessitated reinstall with only 1 drive plugged in. I even unplug any External USB drives.

    FWIW....

That's enough of a digital mess that a clean install with the other drive disconnected is the wisest move. Yes, you can try to unravel it, and we have some really good members to help, but it's time consuming and re-install is clean..... you will know where you started. Then plug the other drive back in and clean it up.

Okay, thanks for the advice, I will try to clean install. I had a different OS on the backup and I specifically selected the 1gb drive so I was surprised this happened. Change Linux distros regularly without a problem.

Yeah. W/e drive you want to install Windows on....just disconnect the other one, till after the Windows 10 install.

THEN, you can re-connect the other drive and just delete the now useless partitions.

It would take less then 5 minutes to create an EFI system partition on the 1 TB drive if that is the one you want to make bootable. I'm not at my computer now to post the diskpart commands, though.

Thanks Navy, that's what I was originally looking for but I've already gone through a clean install and it wasn't too much of a hassle.
