    Lenovo laptops updating/upgrading failures

I've seen that quite a few Lenovo laptops have failures with upgrading and/or updating to various new builds offered by Windows 10. I am one of those who has never liked this laptop.

Anyway, this link might help some who do like it and need help with specific problems: Lenovo devices tested for Windows 10 version 2004 (May, 2020) - US

I've noted some threads about problems with Yogas. I guess my t440s might struggle- fine with Lenovo SystemUpdate and 1903.

Lenovo ideapad330 no issues through any new Windows 10 versions. Usually I make an ISO image and upgrade that way vs Windows Update. What I don't understand is why v.2004 needs testing on a device that is not that old, yes I am aware Microsoft rushed it big time.

I've got 7 Lenovo laptops here at the house and while I've had occasional, odd issues with some of them, I don't see any patterns that suggest widespread or large scale problems. You can get good support here, but also at the Lenovo forums as well.

Millions of PCs - many hardware combinations. MS can't test 'em all. It seems the driver database or whatever MS uses is updated each build, and that can introduce problems in some cases.
