    Windows 10 v. 2004 installed and no troubles.

    Hello, everybody!:
    Last weekend and after Microsoft's permission, I decided to install the 2004 version through Windows Update. It took about 35 minutes in total and now, it's fully optimized. It doesn't bring news to install it, but I did it anyway, hoping that Microsoft's permission would be valid. And so it was. By modifying the registry, I have enabled it in new Start Menu. I had to re-optimize certain values in the registry, because when these disappear, the system would become slower. Although it's going a little slower now than before, the difference can't be seen. No program has stopped working and the installation was done with all hard drives (internal and external) disconnected, except the main one. No documents were lost from the main disk. Well, I can already say I'm a 2004 runner. Thank you all for your cooperation.Note: No. I didn't back up. I threw myself in the pool without a float.

    2004 does not report SSD optimization properly, it will always tell you it needs optimizing.

    It`s a flaw that needs to be fixed.

    Just turn off scheduled defragmentation and do it whenever you see fit.

    @AddRAM:
    Yes, you're the reason. With the little and free application "SSDFresh", the optimization almost was optimized. After, as you said, I go to the optimization utility on Windows and all the job was realized. Thanks for the advisory.
