The ESENT Event ID 642 errors are related to the Catalog Database in C:\Windows\System32\catroot2.

When I tested 2004 in early June, I deleted all files in catroot2 in the Recovery Environment (files are re-created on boot), and disabled Windows Search (we replaced it with Everything from voidtools), which reduced the number of 642's significantly, but did not eliminate them.

If that is the only issue you're having, I wouldn't be concerned about it.

    Hi @phrab!

If you do have your documents protected/stored by OneDrive and you restore your image of old Win v1909, please do have a look later on at the Recycle Bin of OneDrive Online (web).

I have done something similar and, to my surprise, I could not find my newer files anywhere. It took me one week to find them there!

Thanks for the info. I actually have my documents, etc. stored in both Macrium Reflect & on my other networked computer.
