Win 10 2004 may not be the worst release compared with some that deleted files, or earlier ones that remove partitions, but still have a few (nothing serious) glitches.
OP is going to do a clean install on his aunt laptop. Can you imagine her fixing those glitches?
People come to this forum for help and/ or suggestions.
Most of us, who help others with their computers, must consider the OP computer as a working tool and not as a recreation tool.
Our suggestions must focus on reliability and stability.
I suggested Win 10 Ver 1909 because it is stable and because there is very little that's new in 2004. A lot of minor tweaks and improvements, but you'd be hard pressed to see any significant difference from 1909. With end of support for 1909 in May 2021 there's absolutely no urgency.
