    Update to specific version

    Hello guys,

My pc is super outdated right now (1809), I just want to ask if there's a way to update to a specific build? like 1903, 1909.
Normally windows update can only offer the latest version possible (2004). Same as the windows update assistant.

But I only want to update my pc to just one version next to it. I'm kinda looking for a standalone update for 1903.

You can get earlier release ISOs using Rufus, or from the Heidoc website.

You don't need Rufus. And you can just download the Media Creation Tool and create a bootable USB drive sans (without) Rufus. You can also create an ISO file using the same tool.

That said the latest I'm not sure where to find "older" versions of Windows as the latest is 2004. Perhaps @Brink can shed some light on this.

    Good luck.

He wants 1903, not 2004, so the OP will need to use Rufus or Heidoc to get it.

    I would install 1909, not 1903.

1903 reaches End of Service on December 8, 2020.

    1909 on May 11, 2021.

    Five more months of support.

EDIT: My apologies, I see that AddRam has already given this same link. I'll simply note that I have used it many times with no issues ever.

Select "Windows Final" from the first drop-down box, then select as appropriate for the remaining choices.

NOTE: The downloads here link back to Microsoft so they are safe, in addition, I see posts on Microsoft forums where they point to this site for download. This is what I use if I need to grad a previous version.

I'll see what other options are out as I'm not convinced the "Rufus way" is the only way. I could be wrong, but...

    Does this option require Rufus?

    Thanks.
