That`s what I meant, if you want 1909 you have to have use the 1909 MCT to get that version, if you use the MCT.
I thought this thread was dead and buried, No![]()
Thanks for the clarity. I thought there was some misunderstanding but I didn't want to argue any further.
Anyway I downloaded the file from the source you linked to and couldn't create a DVD since the file is too big; I got a 5gig file. I mounted instead, clicked the exe and this is as far as I'm going since I'm already running 1909 on this machine....
What's the chances it installs from there? (Oh, and no Rufus).
With all due respect are you actually following what's posted? We where all talking about getting an older file... Remember you beat me up about mentioning 2004???
Anyway AddRAM posted a link to get the 1909 ISO in post #5. Using that link I downloaded 1909. In my post you partially quoted I mentioned... 1909
And BTW I'm well aware of the 2004 fiasco and how it won't install if your PC isn't "ready". Been there done that (MCT, ISO, USB, Upgrade Assistant) on my backup machine with all resulting in an epic fail. Even posted about it
But back to this.... yes 1909 is the ISO I'm playing with. Thanks.
