Many thanks for all of your advice and suggestions.

I downloaded setupdiag and tried running it. It briefly opens a command window and then closes it and dies.

    Comments appreciated.

    Regards

    Thanks for the response.

In what directory would the output be if there were any?

I see the problem but let Caledon Ken answer your question first, I don't want to "steal" his efforts.

    Well maybe, just maybe .....

Pretty sure you have to have 20GB of free space. Your C: has 11GB from earlier screen shot.

The fail has words in it like CalculateRequiredDiskSpace

Please zebal, if you know answer jump in.

Yes, the logs indicate there is no enough disk space on C drive.
We can see this from the screenshot in previous OP post.

Doesn't have to be this 100% but that's what it all points to.

    Many thanks for your comments.

I will clean up the disk to greater than 20GB free space.

    And then try again.

Unbelievable in this day and age a simple message cannot be provided.

I would have thought the install would do this basic check prior to doing anything.

Honestly for all the advancements computing has made we haven't come very far.
