Have you tried going into Windows Update's advanced options in Pro and looking for the Defer Quality Update and Defer Feature Update options?

Yes, of course. I have Defer Feature updates set to 365 days. Always have

No reason to change the Quality update setting.

Great. As it turns out I have 2 packs of 25 DVD +R DL disks that I bought YEARS ago. I have only ever used 2 of them! Is the +R OK?
I have used both DVD+R and DVD-R in the past, mainly for burning DVD videos. I found that the DVD+R disks were the most compatible across a wide range of DVD players and PC drives. The DVD-R were more choosy about what drive they we used in, not being readable in some.

Yes, your DVD+R disks should do just fine.

You're not on 2004 yet, are you?

    Good luck finding them there!

Nope no reason to update yet, 1909 works great

Did Microsoft remove the Defer Feature update option again ?

Seems AWOL in 2004 RTM, but also seems that its not had all its 'insider' bits removed for the RTM. See....

...and those options are disabled in Insider builds.

Great Bree. Too bad the Enterprise edition of 1909 is not there any more even with the trick and saying 1909 it does download, but is actually 2004.

Stick with 1909 for another 3 or 4 months at least

If the computer is running without problems and has all you need, why rush to install the latest version that still has issues and needs to be polished?

I've never come across any other type of the Dual-Layer disc. I usually get them in the 25-count cakebox.

Yes, that is what I got YEARS ago...two 25 packs and only used 1 or 2 disks!
