Known and Resolved issues for Windows 10 May 2020 Update version 2004
How to get the Windows 10 May 2020 Update version 2004
Current status as of May 27, 2020
Windows 10, version 2004 is available for users with devices running Windows 10, versions 1903 and 1909 who manually seek to “Check for updates” via Windows Update. The recommended servicing status is Semi-Annual Channel.
There's a News article per update per build in the News section with download links and user comments following.
It is now. MS is doing a staggered roll-out. Meaning they are cutting it lose randomly and gauging any feedback that could trigger a pull-back. Not likely. If it is not being offered to you as an Optional Update when you do Check for Updates, you can do it yourself with the Media Creation Tool or Update Assistant. Your choice. As we tell everyone, have a good system image backup before proceeding.

I downloaded the 2004 ISO yesterday via MCT, mounted it and ran setup.exe. Updated in about an hour. No serious problems yet.
There can be problems related to BSOD with 2004 and Nvidia GPU drivers:

Issue with older drivers for Nvidia display adapters (GPU)
Nvidia and Microsoft have found incompatibility issues with certain versions of Nvidia display adapter drivers and Windows 10, version 2004 (the Windows 10 May 2020 Update). Windows 10 devices with affected Nvidia display driver versions might receive a stop error with a blue screen or other issues during or after installing the update to Windows 10, version 2004. The affected drivers are any version lower than 358.00.
To safeguard your update experience, we have applied a compatibility hold on Windows 10 devices with affected Nvidia display drivers drivers installed from being offered Windows 10, version 2004 or Windows Server, version 2004 until the driver has been updated.
Affected platforms:
Client: Windows 10, version 2004
Server: Windows Server, version 2004
Workaround: To mitigate this issue, you will need to check with your device manufacturer (OEM) to see if an updated driver is available and install it.
Next steps: Microsoft and Nvidia are working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.
Note We recommend that you do not attempt to manually update using the Update now button or the Media Creation Tool until this issue has been resolved.
From Day 1, but as f14tomcat says not all machines will see it in windows update straight away. Two of mine were offered it (and I installed it) within minutes of the official release, the rest are still waiting to see it offered.
You know me, always happy to test a new release
But NOT on all my machines at once, and definitely not without a system image to restore should it all go pear-shaped.
After you install Version 2004 Build 19041.264, go into the Device Manager and check the drivers for your computer's primary devices.
You may discover that some of them have reverted to older driver versions and will need to be re-updated.
