Cannot upgrade to WIN 10 from WIN7 sp1

    You don't need to install win 7 and then upgrade.
    If you installed Win 7 and have the win 7 key, you can install win 10 and use the win 7 key on it.

    If you have a SLP license (computer came with Win 7) you can retrieve the key and do a clean install
    Clean Install Windows 10 Directly without having to Upgrade First

    Didn't work for me when I upgraded an older computer I have hooked up to my TV as a media center.
    I had to have an activated, up to date install of windows 7 first.
