Windows 10 Will Not Boot Without Old SSD

The HD Tune full error scan and Sea Tools long generic can take many hours on large drives.

These are some additional quick drive tests to run after the above tests.

Run HD Sentinel: (free or trial edition)

Here are the results so far. SeaTools is currently stuck for about 5 minutes at "USB: Scanning for supported drives. Please wait..." Maybe because HD Tune 2.55 is still running...

You don't run bcdboot from inside diskpart. If that is what you have been doing all along, that is your problem. You run bcdboot in a command prompt, not in diskpart.

Well, I did run it in diskpart initially but since diskpart didn't recognize the command I excited diskpart and then ran it outside of diskpart.

Any way to save the data on the C drive?

At this point, you need to wipe the new SSD and do a clean install to it with no other drives connected.

You might be able to save some data with a partition recovery program.

If there are problems with the drive (fail long generic) then replace the drive.

If there are no problems with the drive and only the drive file system (NTFS etc.) then attempt data recovery.

There were two recent threads where RAW recovery partitions surprisingly recovered.

RAW indicates Windows cannot read the file. The data may be able to be recovered or read by a different operating system (Ubuntu/Linux).

When available please post results for HD Tune full error scan, and Sea Tools for Windows long generic test.

What is / are the status of the files on the drive?

Hmm, I didn't get notifications about those last posts. Anyways,
@zbook, HDTune 2.55 Faile Long Generic scan finished and everything was green. I also ran Sea Tools and it didn't find anything but I didn't bother taking screenshots after what NavyLCDR said.
I then started searching for data recovery programs. I found Easeus (and many others) but the Easeus required an internet connection and the Kyhi didn't find my network card and the wireless had an IP of 0.0.0.0. Then I discovered MiniTool Power Data Recovery 7.0 on Kyhi. It took some time to scan but it found a lot of my files. I am recovering them right now and I am pretty optimistic. Most of them are still intact.
Another issue will be finding all the license keys. Plus I have a lot of software that requires online activation and before you can install it on another computer you have to deactivate the software which obviously I can't do at this point.
After my backup I will let have windows try to recover. I don't have much hope but I don't have much to lose anymore.

This software is actually included on Kyhi and it didn't cost anything. Maybe it's an older version and there is a newer one now. But I just wanted to mention it in case somebody else will be in the same situation. I am still not sure why this happened....

Windows recovery didn't work. I looked into MiniTool Partition Wizard Professional 9.1 to change the type from raw to ntfs. To my surprise this tool lists my partition as Basic MBR - CNTFS). So why does it see it as NTFS?
