    hi

first error it threw was the language default, uninstall any secondary language options and try updating again

    Roy
Strange because as of this moment the only language is English(US) on the computer.

Waiting for the latest update might be the best option and I may have to do a clean install as a last resort.

There are log collectors used in another Ten Forums room.

Run each V2 and DM and upload results into this thread:

Custom Install, tried ISO method again but I may have to try a bootable USB. Need to go buy a USB. It doesn't give me a custom option or ask for installation location. Clean install will be a last resort when I have to.

Also attached V2 and DM results

    The logs displayed recent BSOD.
The last BSOD reported in the logs were on 3/20, 3/18 and 3/17.
The BSOD on 1/7 2020 was caused by misbehaving Nvidia GPU drivers.

There were events recorded related to the drive.
There are tests ordered to evaluate the drive.

The BIOS is out of date.

Find a flash drive that you can format (> or = 8 GB).

Create a bootable Windows 10 iso:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10
    Download Windows 10 ISO File
Create Bootable USB Flash Drive to Install Windows 10

The Windows 10 iso can be used for custom or clean install or for in place upgrade repairs.

    1) Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    2) sfc /scannow
    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
    4) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    5) sfc /scannow
    6) chkdsk /scan
    7) wmic recoveros set autoreboot = false
    8) wmic recoveros set DebugInfoType = 7
    9) wmic recoveros get autoreboot
    10) wmic recoveros get DebugInfoType
    11) bcdedit /enum {badmemory}

    12) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    chkdsk /r /v
This may take hours to run so plan to run overnight.
Run on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /r /v C: or chkdsk /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive.

    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.
    Cannot lock current drive.

Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another
process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be

*For the Minitool Partition Wizard I wasn't too sure which test to run so I skipped over it

*Uninstalled Nvidia GPU driver with DDU and then reinstalled, did clean install and installed PhysX driver

*Enabled Driver Verifier at first and had to restart to save settings, unfortunately got BSOD upon restart so I went into safe mode to delete changes made.

I am seeing your throughput speeds leave a lot to be desired. On my AHCI m2 SSD I am getting 500MB/s+ speeds with MS AHCI stock driver.

    1) Chkdsk C:
    Code:
Correcting errors in the Volume Bitmap.

    2) Chkdsk D:
    Code:
Windows has made corrections to the file system.

    3) BIOS upgraded 204 > 206

    4) For Mini Tool Partition Wizard > click launch > post an image into the thread

    5) Run HD Sentinel: (free or trial edition)
Hard Disk Sentinel - HDD health and temperature monitoring
Hard Disk Sentinel - HDD health and temperature monitoring
Post images of each of these tabs into the thread:
    Overview tab
    Temperature
    SMART
    Disk performance

    6) For Windows driver verifier:

    7) Make a new restore point:
Create System Restore Point in Windows 10

    8) Start with 3 customized test settings in the Ten Forums link.
Increase the number of simultaneous customized tests by 3 - 5 / hour up to the 19 in the Microsoft link.

Enable and Disable Driver Verifier in Windows 10
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...3-c48669e4c983

    9) There can be performance problems and slow boot while using the tool.
If necessary the customized test settings can be modified.

    10) For any BSOD:

    a) run the V2 log collector to collect new log files

    b) open file explorer> this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for: C:\Windows\memory.dmp
    > if the file size is < 1.5 GB then zip > post a separate share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

    11) Once there are no longer any misbehaving drivers during 48 hours of testing the tool will be run for an additional 36 hours. If there are no BSOD this will conclude the use of the tool.

    12) Download and Install Intel driver and support assistant:
Download Intel(R) Driver & Support Assistant

    13) Launch the application > indicate any driver updates detected

    14) A Windows upgrade checklist will be posted.

    15) Run through this checklist before performing the next upgrade.

If you don't mind I'd like a little more clarification with the Windows Driver Verifier. Here is what I'm doing:

*Enabled I/O Verification, Force pending I/O requests, and IRP Logging

*Slowly added 3-5 drivers/hour while still keeping the above enabled

*When I would add another 3-5 drivers I would still select previous ones I've already tested

Finally I selected the Logitech drivers, restarted and it gave me BSOD.
    Stop code: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Entered safe mode to disable driver verifier.

My concerns are was I doing the procedure correctly? Would I run the V2 log collector now?
