Just to round it out.... Creates in ESD format (to keep the 4GB limit). Creates 18362.592, but if you let it check for updates during Install or Upgrade, it will take it to 18363.693 (Current 3/09/20). Only update after will be the .Net updates.

Thanks for the info. And I always check for updates after the install so that's not an issue.

BTW whatever attachment you were attempting show does not come through. And when I click the attachment link, I get an "invalid attachment specified. If you followed a valid link notify admin".

Yeah, that's what I get when I create a boot drive using MCT...

I tried an experiment. I used the MCT to create a USB flash drive, using a 128GB drive.

Worked OK. It created a single FAT32 partition on the drive. The remainder of the space was unallocated. Disk Management declined to expand the 32GB partition into the unallocated space. I was able to make it an NTFS partiton, as expected.

I had to delete both partitions in Disk Management to allow it to create a single partiton for the whole drive again.

Good fun, but I'll never do that again, as long as I have 32GB and smaller flash drives on hand.

MBR, FAT32, the FAT32 partition should be marked as active, don't know the exact cluster size, it should be "default".

when I set Partition layout on MBR the format will be than NTFS, there is no other selection.

And what to do with the files on the USB Flash

You may create two partitions: FAT32 and NTFS. Put Win10XPE into the FAT32 partition, and put Windows ISO into the NTFS partition. After booting into Win10XPE, mount the ISO and run “/sources/setup.exe”. That's how I clean-installed Windows 10 in UEFI mode months ago. See Win10XPE - Build Your Own Rescue Media
You may put multiple ISO files in the NTFS partition and put personal files in the FAT32 partition as you have 128 GB in total.
