Windows 10 does not want to install from DVD

Version Windows 7 Ultimate
Version 6.1 (build 7601: Service pack 1)

In the attachment is a photo with the error that appears if I want to install windows 10 on the computer.

I have not changed anything on my hardware.
Nothing changed in software.
Original windows 10 iso file downloaded from microsoft website
Made a boot DVD with PowerISO

As soon as I perform a windows upgrade from windows, there are no errors and Windows is just installed afterwards.

Now I need realy some help with this one, Thank you in advance for your effort

Welcome to the forum. We have a lot of people having this type of problem when they use third party tools to create the DVD if you download and let ms at the end create the DVD it normally works. It's much simpler to goto the site and hit upgrade that normally works fine

So it is better to use Nero Platinum to create a DVD?

Do you want to do a Clean install (delete all partitions on the disk and install Win 10) or you want to upgrade from Win 7 to Win 10 (keep all programs and data)?

To create a Win 10 installation DVD from an Iso file, "burn" the DVD with the iso as source. Nero is a good choice as a DVD "burner".
The iso must be smaller than 4.7G.

I have to process everything well in my memory to understand all this. I prefer not to work with an upgrade

The installation must be completely new, without a prior installation of Windows 7.

To be sure, I have done the following.

Went to the Microsoft website and used the Download Tool now. Followed all steps and from there burn the ISO file to a DVD choice.

Burned a DVD once with Nero ultimate
1 x burned with Win DVD

Both of course on a blank DVD 4.7GB

Now hope that it will work now, I will let you hear this from my side.

To have a completely new, without a prior installation of Windows 7 you must do a clean-install

It's VERY important that you detach (power or SATA cable) from all other drives leaving on only the target disk. (if you don't do it you may end with the OS in one disk and the boot loader on the other)

Boot from the DVD and proceed to install. Make sure you delete ALL partitions till you have one and only one unallocated partition and proceed.

O Wow a very good point that I almost forgot, thank you so much for reminding me.

With every new installation of a Windows, I normally disconnect everything that is not important at that time during the installation.

However, now I had forgotten it due to various error messages and not being able to burn a DVD.

Finally it has been possible to burn 1 DVD, the DVD starts up slowly but no errors to you.

I will only have to see with the complete installation that how it works. Nice 5 hours to make 1 DVD.

I suggest using a USB falsh drive rather than a DVD. It's much quicker. (The flash drive is random access, unlike a DVD.)
