the ssd has nothing to do with the update process. I do not know how long the update takes as I only do fresh installs when their is a major update.

Okay it's been three hours since I stared this and for the past 2hrs it's been stuck at 92 percent. This is just odd. This is an Ssd too, should I wait any more? Or should I just turn off my pc and try something else?

    Restart pc, see what happens.
It will either continue, reset, or give an error code failed update.

You could try using USB ISO upgrade with the 'Repair Install.....' Tutorial.

Well I did that. Thankfully nothing bad happened so I decided to update via media creation tool. It's been 40 minutes and I'm back at 92 percent. Strange thing is that now when I get to 92 percent the light on my computer indicating action stops blinking. If this fails should I just do iso?

Allow the upgrade to run overnight.

There are steps that can performed to improve the likelihood of a successful upgrade and steps that can be performed to troubleshoot Windows upgrade failures.

    For failures start with setupdiag:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...rade/setupdiag

Post a share link of the results using one drive, drop box, or google drive

So no error message from OS, nothing in 'windows reliability history monitor' ?

There also was an issue using usb iso, but the simple trick was doing the install offline then doing any updates afterwards.

Okay it's doing the 92% thing again. Not moving at all He's been stuff there for 20 minutes.I think this maybe an issue since last month I had to do a repair install for my 1809Since it was giving me issues Since I delete something I shouldn't have. I used heidoc iso downloader. Should I just use that to download the iso and update that way?

Well since I started this over an hour ago I'll wait until the second hour.Since I started Stop watch on my tablet.I'm using SSD So this shouldn't be taking so long as it is.

Actually since this may not work should I just update to 1903 instead and use that ISO?

    File below showing error.
