WIn 10 upgrade from 7 ultimate, partition error ??

Just tried upgrading from the microsoft download page yet get the following error...

"This PC can't run windows 10 - We couldn't update the system reserved partition"

Around 96gb free on the m2 ssd, what's the score here ?. Used Macrium Reflect (uninstalled) to copy this drive to a new one so wondering if that did something.

    Disk management shows two volumes:
'C:' simple, basic, NTFS (boot, page file, crash dump, primary partition) 476Gb
'Data', simple, basic, NTFS, (system, active, primary partition) 100Mb

    Thanks in advance !

There is something wrong with the 100MB NTFS system partition. You need to either delete it and recreate it or need to increase its size to 200MB.

    5) A troubleshooting option to fix the upgrade failure message is to modify the EFI partition so that there is sufficient free space.
This often can be done by temporarily uninstalling files or modifying the partition size.
The typical deficit is < 15 MB
Unneeded languages are temporarily uninstalled creating the free space.

Used minitool to increase the partition to ~300Mb. Upgrade now works fine !
