Will a FRESH install of Windows 10 recognize my Windows Storag Spaces

    Hi all

I am new here and apologize in advance if this question has been asked but I cannot seem to find threads regarding my question.

Recently upgraded to Windows 10 Pro a few days back from Win 8.1 and all went perfect but now I would like to make a clean install.

Will my current Windows Storage Space Drives (4) be recognized automatically or will I have to start from scratch.

    Hi there

I'm a big user of storage spaces. No problems at all with new W10 install. W10 storage spaces are reasonably robust so you can clean install with no loss of data.

(Storage spaces created from W8 / W8.1 are fine too when doing a CLEAN install of W10 as well as an upgrade).

    Cheers

    Hi Jimbo45

    Thank you for the reply.

Hate to double check this, I assume you are saying that I can do a complete fresh install ignoring any setup I have, format my OS SSD and W10 will automatically recognize my storage drives without any loss of data at all!:)
