    I don't know... I don't know. Maybe I'm just not making myself clear..

    The start menu disappearance happens before loading any Windows updates.

    On one RTM machine I had a similar issue with having Tiles and a very limited list on the Start button, turned out an update had made a change in Start, Personalization and the Start section, just had to turn it back on to get the list.

    I am happy te report that installs as of 22/02 have returned to normal.

    Now I have to go back and reload all the machines I loaded in the last week.

    One year on and the missing tiles on clean installs have returned.
