    Windows 10 Upgrade error - 0x8007001F


    I'm getting the same error message repeatedly. 0x8007001F - 0x 2006. The installation failed in the SAFE_OS pgase with an error REPLICATE_OC operation.

    This is after I accidentally deleted the recovery drive after windows failed to back up the drive. So I renamed the partition the same way as before. Does that have anything to do with it?

    I'm going restore the computer to before that,. and see if it succeeds this time.

    I couldn't restore my computer because none of the restore points were there. I had to repair install the windows 7 and reenter the key. I had the install dvd and the key with me. and then this method of upgrading to windows 10 went through smoothly. But it's so slow on my old dell ispiron runnign core2duo 2 ghz and 4 gig ram. not sure if i should go back to windows 7 at this point.
