    Glad the upgrade worked.

If the PC is working ok- and all drivers /devices ok, your priority should be to create a new base (initial) disk image.
As a rollback? Sure i can do that. Macriums working on it now. Do you know what the extensible host controller is? I'm hoping Dell has a driver detect thing that tells me what needs updating on this service. Most i can find right now is just this

And the wifi cut out pretty quickly after about 15 minutes of being turned on so that's not a good sign so far.

When connected to the internet, right click on the WiFi adapter in device manager and select update driver. Then select Search automatically for updated driver software.

While in device manager, are there any hardware items that have exclamation points that would indicate driver problems, or any devices listed as "unknown device"?

Full support by Dell is to Win 8.

There are a few later items listed for Win 10. Remember I mentioned the BIOS update ('Urgent')?

Where older laptops are updated to unsupported Win 10 it's sometimes necessary to use a driver for an older Windows (last supported) rather than the one MS delivers.

Here you are rather on your own, except for comparing notes with someone with the same PC who has Win 10 on it.

Here's Dell's list to check for PCs supported /tested with Win 10:

Seems to be on the list...

The table below lists Dell Latitude computers that have been tested for update to Windows 10 November 2019 Update. If your computer model is not listed, Dell is not testing the device, and drivers have not been updated for that model.

    Latitude E5250
