    Resetting Windows 10...

As I'm posting this I'm doing a Reset on Windows 10.
    What should I expect?
How will I get the user account set up?
I bought the computer with the OS already installed.

I regretfully had to do this.

I'm on a tiny cell phone, please excuse typos...

Any tips that put me ahead of the game would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello Larry,

The tutorial below can help show you step by step for what to expect while doing a reset of Windows 10.

Okay , it's not going as well as I had hoped.
When it said 100%, I was expecting to see some type of way to continue with the installation. Instead it opened up a HP screen with little white dots going in circles and it stayed that way for 6 hours.
I shut it off. Powered it up and it asked for an administrator password which I gave it.
It then went Back to the HP screen with the little white dots going in circles...
So I shut it off again and powered it up again only pressing the escape button. It went to the screen asking which choice I would like to do.
I went to Bios and tried to disable the administrator password option... Then put it back into reinstall.
    I don't have media.
Now it saying RESETTING this PC....
It doing whatever it's doing much faster...
What should I do now or next????

If it's still working on the reset, it would be best to let it finish.

Well yes I'm of course doing that, it's at 90% now.
So you think that it saying RESETTING this PC indicates that it is doing what it should be doing? Haha...

If the percentage is increasing and if there appears to be hard drive activity, then it sounds like it is still working on the reset.

If all else fails, you can create a Windows 10 installation USB on any computer, boot from the USB on the computer you are trying to reset, and perform a clean install instead.

Okay, well it went right back to the HP screen with the little white dots going in circles... It's lost....
I have no way of creating creating media.
I'm pretty sure that I can get to a command prompt buy powering it up while pressing the escape button...
Is there a better way to do it that will work?
I don't know command prompt at all but it seems to be a bit more direct....

Do you have a friend that may let you create installation media from their computer?

In that case, you could try to boot to advanced startup options using option 6 or option 7 from the command prompt in the tutorial below.

Boot to Advanced Startup Options in Windows 10

If able, you could try starting over with the reset.
