Installing WINDOWS 7 over WINDOWS 10

    Dear Madam or Sir:

I would like to go back to WINDOWS 7 as I cannot stand WINDOWS 10. I have a WINDOWS 7 Home Premium CD, but am unable to install it, so if anyone may inform me about how to do so, I would be most grateful.

    Respectfully,

If it's just the menu you don't like then install Classic / Open Shell and configure to operate like Windows 7. I wouldn't go back to Windows 7 which is no longer supported.

Installing Windows 7 now it's obsolete would be a really bad idea, why not tell us what you hate about Windows 10 and we can see if there is anything that can be done to fix that.

Hello Gregory, and welcome to Ten Forums.

If you upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and it's been 10 days or less since you upgraded, you could use the method in the tutorial below to go back to Windows 7.

Go Back to the Previous Version of Windows in Windows 10

However, I agree that it may be best if we can help fix what you cannot stand about Windows 10. Windows 10 is more customizable than most think.
