Windows Install Key Question

I work in an IT shop. We wanted to know if we reinstall Windows 10 with our own image will the image pull the key from the machine's BIOS or our image which is good for activating only 3 machines.

Remove the product key using slmgr /upk before making the image. Then when it is applied to other computers, it will use the product key in the computers' firmware.
