    HI,
Have you tried to remove all but the last system restore points/ shadow copies win-10 has created over time also cleaned up temp files/...
    Optimize disk/....

Have you looked at C drive contents for prior windows.old folders ?

The OP has been asked several times to remove the cracked software from his machine and submit new logs. As yet, this has not happened. No further discussion should be occurring until this is resolved.

Then upload a new V2 that is clean so that members can troubleshoot.
I have uploaded a fresh set of logs now - I went through the files contained in the previous one and spotted what you were referring to and removed it from the hosts file, making sure whatever it was was fully removed from my system.

    Hi,
Yes way too little space on C disk
You need system image space plus windows.old space
    I'd guess about 35gb's
I'd just get a 860 evo 500gb things are dirt cheap 80.us and system image your current install onto it or clone if you wish too instead.
    Robot Check
I've juggled a few things around and I now have 58.7GB - that should be plenty now, right?

Honestly, I wish I had that kind of disposable income right now..!

Did you try that? When I failed to install 1809 before I moved to 1903, that what I had to use for it to work which was a giant pain in the arse.
Oh, Media Creation Tool? I have indeed

I've removed all restore points/shadow copies, done multiple CCleaner/Disk Cleanup passes and also removed files manually.

There are no windows.old folders present anymore.

    Hi,
You should be all set 50gb's is plenty of room for the 1909 update.
After updating to 1909 be sure to rid yourself of the new windows.old folder and be aware your ssd will slow down if you fill it up again !

Please note you're welcome to try again, and you might be lucky. But bear in mind the errors in your logs have not been addressed, so something may catch you out.

zbook has not yet commented on the uploaded data, but such comment awaits a new set to be uploaded.

It can be best to choose not to accept updates during the upgrade: this reduces the chance of failure.

As ever, make sure you have a current disk image before commencing, just in case.

    chkdsk /r /v
This may take hours to run so plan to run overnight.
Run on all drives using the syntax: chkdsk /r /v C: or chkdsk /r /v D: changing the drive letter to the applicable drive.

    C:\Windows\system32>chkdsk /r /v
The type of the file system is NTFS.

What I posted was not the media created tool, its a program to help with the upgrade process to new versions of windows. Did you attempt the upgrade assistant?

Ah, my bad, I'll try that next.

So I tried again with the 1909 ISO - no joy (see Logs_ISO.zip)

Then I tried again via Windows Update (there was a Defender update apparently queued too, 'Pending install') and was lulled into a false sense of security with a Restart notification in the Action Centre, and Update-related messages on the logoff screen. PC restarted twice (BIOS > Windows Logo > BIOS > Windows Logo > ogon screen. Checking winver shows I'm still on 1803. (see Logs_WUattempt1.zip).

Windows Update says it failed with 0x8007023e and that I can try again, which I'm just in the middle of doing now.

If this isn't successful I'll try the Assistant.
