Migrate from NVME to Samsung NVME using Orico NVME enclosure ?

How do I migrate from my internal Toshibha NVME 512Gb on XPS 7590 to a samsung evoplus 970 1TB NVME drive, using Orico NVME enclosure ? The samsung evo plus 1TB drive installed in Orico NVME enclosure shows up as JMicron Generic SCSI Disk device . I have tried using samsung data migration tool but it didn't worked. I am using Windows 10 1909 Build 18363.

You could perform the clone operation and then resize the partition to occupy all the remaining space afterwards. I'm not certain about Macrium Reflect, but some similar products will allow you to clone and resize all in a single operation. But that detail is not important. Even if you clone the partition with exact same size initially, you always expand it afterward.

I don't want to assume incorrectly what @AddRAM is saying, but I believe that the point is that if you are using Macrium Reflect and have images of your boot drive stored on another drive, you could restore one of those images to the new drive.

Summary:

With Macrium Reflect (or similar product if you feel you want to use something else), either perform a clone operation from the existing disk to the new disk, or restore an existing image to it.

If the partition on the new drive needs to be expanded, do so now.

Configure your system to boot from that new drive and start Windows.
