    E drive ???

Do you mean Disk 2 ?

You need to get the SSD you don`t want to use out of there, then you can do whatever you want.
Yes disk 2. My current operating system is on disk 1 i.e toshiba, I want to replace it with Samsung drive i.e Disk 2.

What exactly do you want to do ?

Do you want to get rid of the Toshiba drive, or just format it and keep using it ?

Do you want to install the Samsung into the XPS ?
I want to install Samsung drive in XPS, and use toshbhia as external drive.

Solved booted from orico Nvme enclosure using Samsung 1TB evoplus. I followed this video to clone the drive using Macrium reflect 7 free edition. Cloned and resize the partition in same go. Booted using Type-C nvme enclosure to check, if cloned OS was working before installing the Samsung drive in XPS.
Followed this guide to boot using Thunderbolt drive.
Next Step, installing Samsung drive in XPS. Thanks everyone who guided me with this clone. https://www.dell.com/support/article...ection?lang=en

I used Macrium Reflect vr 7 trial version, you can resize the partition with the OS in a single clone, you drop each sector down then when you get to the main OS you drop it down click edit partition resize it, then go back drop down the RE partition if you cant drop it down look at RE partition maximum size go back and resize partition to make the RE tools fit, once done click next and then finalize it. all done, no resizing after needed.
