    Clean Reinstall Mystery

I decided it was time for a clean reinstall of Win10, the one that requires you to delete partitions. My previous data was on my G: drive, which was also deleted (and backed up to various locations first) The Win installation went according to plan, no issues. When I re-booted and signed into my microsoft account, low and behold my background images were there, slideshow working as before. Those images were previously on the G: drive. How? I don't use OneDrive. Aside from these, there are no artifacts from the previous installation.

When you logon with a Microsoft account, one of the benefits of doing so is that you can sync various settings between systems.

Goto Start > Settings > Accounts > Sync your settings

Note too that Edge can sync your list of favorites as well.

There may be other things as well that I'm not thinking of at the moment.
