This is the only info I have for my processor. Atom Z3740 1.33 GHz so I'm sure it's Bay trail trail...
That should be fine. My Cedar Trail has to make do with the Microsoft Basic display driver, but your Z3740 is supported by Intel with the latest W10 display driver being dated May 2019.

Does My Intel(R) Processor Support Microsoft Windows(R) 10? .The Bay Trail processors are listed here so I'm good.

Just to let you guys know, I probably won't be trying this until after Christmas as my wife is still using the notebook at work for word processing.
    Happy holidays,

Sorry if anybody was waiting for an update but I was temporarily resigned to sticking with Win 8.1. So, here I am over a year later with an update. Using a Micro SD Card as Permanent Storage on Windows - YouTube. This video gave me the info I needed to expand my internal storage with a 64Gb micro SD card. From there I invoked the Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant and voila!. The installation completed without a hitch. A big thank you to all who contributed to my solution.
