If you format D you will lose all your data. why do you think you have a virus ?

Just use Windows Defender or Malwarebytes free and run scans.

Malware protection. Better than Antivirus | Malwarebytes
That's what I want to do have a fresh system installed on C and completely empty disc D with no files on it.I don't want to have any personal data on this PC.
Sometimes programs don't detect all viruses. I just want to have a system with clean and empty discs as if my PC was just bought from a store. Because i noticed my computer is running slow even tho i have a lot of space left yet plus i already tried all antivirus programs and Malwarebytes even the paid ones and it doesn't detect anything

But if i delete all partitions it will only clean my disc C with the system? How to clean both C and D at the same time ? Also will formatting disc D remove all viruses and data or deleting is the best way?

Clean install disk 0 > everything will be free of malware, will have default partition sizing, and will have C:

Install drivers from the computer or motherboard manufacturer website.
Any drivers not displayed install from component manufacturer websites: Intel, Nvidia, AMD, Killer Networks, Realtek, etc.

Install applications > perform windows updates

Install Malwarebytes on the new C: > attach disk 1 > test for malware on all drives
Install Superantispywre on C: > check for spyware on all drives

Once D: is checked for malware you can leave it as is.
Alternatively you could move the files to the cloud or C: and then clean disk 1 with a diskpart command.
Then the files could be restored to disk 1.

You simply delete D to unallocated space. Or just format it with windows after the install.

But trust us, Disk 1 (D) should not be hooked up when you install windows.

So like said before deleting all partitions till I have only unallocated space and then click next? This will remove all data from C and D and let me install a system on C when D will be completely empty? I won't need to create D manually? It will be created automatically after deleting all partitions and click next?

The size of the files on D: exceeds the free space on C: so you would need the cloud or another disk drive if you clean disk 1.
So clean install disk 0 and run malware/spy scanners on disk 1.

No, you will have to create a partition during the install on D or do it afterwards.

But, if you do that, windows may put files on it.

But I've done that it doesn't detect anything but my computer is running super slow even tho i have a lot of space left on both discs. I just want to have completely empty pc as if it was just bought from store with no data just system and 2 discs C SSD with system and disc D HDD for downloads apps and softwares .

So basically i would still have some viruses if it copies all my files? Does formatting and not removing could help me better in this case? Formating would remove all data and left viruses?

You sound really paranoid, just because your PC is running slow does not mean you have a virus, it may be running slow because you have downloaded a bunch of garbage, or you are not defragmenting, or just not taking care of windows on a daily basis.

But ya go ahead, delete both drives to unallocated space and create new partitions on both drives during the install.
