    No v1903 for HP ProBook?

My new HP ProBook G6 450 currently on v1809 OS Build 17763.832 isn't being offered v1903 via Windows update despite feature updates being enabled. I know I can use the Media Creation Tool. Has anyone updated this PC to v1903 or know why the update isn't offered via Windows Update?

Might be interesting to look at the line for that machine in this table:
    https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05195282

It shows HP has tested it with 1709 (compatible drivers). No idea what the "web support" entry for 1903 means, but the blurb also says

note: In the tables below, blank cells indicate that HP did not test the specified version of Windows on that computer model.
and the entry for 1903 is not blank. So that suggests it has been tested with 1903.

I had exactly the same issue with my HP Zbook 15V G5. There was nothing in the list of known issues that applied or explained why 1903 might be being held back, and I didn't get the warning that many got from WU that a feature update was being withheld because my machine wasn't ready yet. All my drivers were up to date, I hadn't delayed updates, had several hundred GB of free space, and a non-metered connection. WU would fetch & install every other update, but not 1903. In the end I gave up waiting and installed it using the Windows Update Assistant. It was a smooth and easy process and 1903 installed and runs just fine. I'm curious if I'll have the same experience with 1909 on that particular machine.

The table shows "web support" for my 450 G6 whatever that means. Surely it will work since my 5 year old Dell laptop works fine in v1903?

I'm not suggesting it won't- maybe there is some definition of what 'web support' means- you could try asking HP...

HP Support advised the laptop is supported so I just upgraded to v1903 using a Media Creation Tool USB stick with no problems. Strange Windows Update didn't offer the feature update.
