If I do a fresh reset on Windows 10 which version of Windows is used?

    If I do a fresh reset on Windows 10 which version of Windows is used?


    Is it the original that I installed or the most recent one it updated too? If it is the first one I might just do a fresh install.

    What do you mean by reset? Normally that means replacing the current OS with the same version, basically a repair install from the current Windows 10 OS: Reset Windows 10

    If you do a Clean install of Windows 10 then as Samurai said, you should use the most recent available which is 1903 18362.356.

Freeze / Reset after fresh Windows 10 install

I had windows 10 activated on my mac (via bootcamp), then I completely deleted the bootcamp partition (to expand it) and reinstalled win 10. Once installed, Windows automatically activated citing "digital entitlement". How does this work? ...
