How to do a clean install of windows 10?

I would like to do clean install of Windows 10 home on my laptop asus Q525.
What partition should I install Windows 10?
What partitions should I keep in case I need it in the future
I created a usb drive with Windows 10 UEFI boot media using Media Creation Tool.

Drive 0 partition 1 system. total size 260.0mb. free space 290.mb type system.
Drive 0 partition 2. total size 16.0mb free space 16.0mb type Msr(microsoft reserved?
Drive 0 partition 3 OS. total size 1862.0gb free space 1769.9 gb type primary.
Drive 0 partition 4 Recovery total size 800.0mb free space 391.0mb type recovery.
Should I install Windows 10 on drive 0 partition 3 OS?
I selected drive 0 partition 3 OS and I everything fine until it said Windows need to restart to continue when windows restart there are two windows 10 on volumen 3 options to boot from I select windows option one and then restart and it got stuck at settings getting ready? Should I remove the usbdrive when Windows reboot? Should I enabled CSM support before the intallation?

    Hello,

The tutorial below can help show you how to clean install Windows 10 with UEFI.

At step 14 below in Windows Setup while installing, you want to delete all partitions on Disk 0 until it's unallocated, then select this unallocated to install W10 on.

Do I have to delete all partitions on Disk 0? Can't I just install it on partition 3: OS and keep partition 1,2 and 4. Don't I need the last there partition (1,2 and 4) to factory recovery?

You need to have it format the drive to remove all partitions.

What OS did the laptop come with? If anything other than Windows 10 then a factory restore will put you back to the old, pre-Windows 10 OS, not what you would want to do. You would always be better off to do a Clean install, deleting all partitions and install to an unallocated drive and let thw Windows installer create the partitions it needs. Really not much need for a Factory Restore any more.

Well.... that did not work correctly the first time, did it? The correct procedure, in your case, is to do what Brink posted.
