Question Regarding Windows 10 Pro for Workstation

I have a PC which I'll be upgrading to v1903 that is running Windows 10 Pro for Workstations. Is the upgrade process the same as any other upgrade? I typically use the Windows media creation tool but is there a specific ISO or any special steps the differ from other versions of Windows? The answer is probably obvious but I have read reports of it downgrading to Windows 10 Pro so i want to avoid this happening. Is there anything I should be aware of or is it a straight forward process?

    Thanks,
    LS

Hello LS, and welcome to Ten Forums.

I run Windows 10 Pro for Workstations on my desktop as well, and there is no difference in the upgrade process.

The ISO created by MCT will also be for W10 Pro for Workstations.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Have you encountered any software issues post upgrade? This specific machine is running some AutoCAD software, I'm hoping the upgrade doesn't affect it or remove it.

If it's running fine now, it should still run fine afterwards.

To be extra safe, create a system image backup before the upgrade. This way you can quickly restore the image to go back if needed.
