    You're welcome. I didn't test this as my upgrade was for a VM, but I'd be very surprised if MS made the same mistake again (new ones, maybe, but not the same one .twice in a row ).

    I have at least 5 computers that now show 1909 as an "optional" update, so it is loose.

    Insider or non-Insider machines? All Insiders in the Release Preview ring should now see it if they check for updates. I've not seen it on any of my non-Insider machines.

    We have increased the “seeker” experience for 19H2 in the Release Preview ring to 100%. This means that everyone in the Release Preview ring should see a Windows 10, version 1909 update available If they go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

    I have been running 1909 for several weeks now, as part of the 10% of the Release Preview selected to pre assess the release, so should be General release by end of October
    Even if it was released to 90%, I would not get it!

    I must be blacklisted - I have never got a single targeted release - lol

    Hi,
    Unfortunately, it is FAKE. I downloaded it twice (and clean installed), before a couple of hours, just to see that it is 1903 18362.387 (setup: 10.0.18362.1).

    Is there any way we can see build number before downloading?
    I just got a notification that 1909 was available.
    The notification was via another source, not via Windows Update.
    Not fake.

    Also, my hard drive crashed when copying something this morning. Sending it to WD and may get my data back. Prayers appreciated! Also, another important announcement. ITS MY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW! I love having updates on my birthday!

    The latest Official build for 1909 is 385, Not sure what 387 gives anyone maybe its a check from Microsoft to check sources

    Hi folks

    @Barman58

    You can get it on UUPDUMP if you want to "have a go with it" and it's 387. I'm using Workstations edition though but can't see why W10 Pro wouldn't also be available.

    OK not the "recommended" way via WU but if you want to play with it then it installs just fine -- download the features update -- i.e the latest one on the UUPDUMP site.

    My feel on this is that it performs really well -- although I did a New install and just have Ms Office 2019 and Firefox installed. Will load it up with Photoshop, SAPGUI (access corporate SAP systems),Hardware video capture device, VMWare WKS and one or two other bits and pieces and will try and "stress test it" including using the WSL and running 2 or 3 Linux VM's on it concurrently.
